The Makita DHR280 LXT Brushless Rotary Hammer is powered by 2 x 18V Li-ion batteries in series (not supplied), to supply energy to the powerful 36V DC motor drive system. Its powerful brushless motor has a'soft no load' function that automatically reduces the motor speed during idling to suppress the vibration of the machine body. The variable speed is controlled by a trigger and it offers 3 operating modes: rotary only, rotary hammer and hammer only. Anti-vibration technology decreases fatigue during use.
